The Old Cow shed farm shop is open exclusively for guests staying at The Dandelion Hideaway. A classic old-fashioned English farm shop with a wooden till and hand written customer accounts, just help yourself to the kitchen supplies and treats you need and make a note of purchases on your account tab!

When you arrive at Dandelion Hideaway, we will give you a warm welcome and a tour of the glamping site. This includes a familiarization of the farm shop, what’s available to buy and what’s happening at the farm during your stay.

We’re sure that being on holiday you’ll be tempted by the locally sourced cakes, cheeses and quiches as well as the honey, jams and pickles. We have a choice of chilled drinks, sweets and other goodies. Not to mention the big SMEG fridge jammed full of delicious local sausages, bacon and pies for you to cook on the wood burning stove! Unhurried holiday breakfasts, yummy lunches and cosy dinners are par for the course on holiday. You will also find store cupboard basics, pasta, muesli and ready-made meals to make mealtimes during your stay easier to plan for.

The Old Cow Shed farm shop is also where you will find the recharging area for all of your devices as well as local and tourist information and a range of bespoke gifts to take home for loved ones, or as a memento of your stay. Why not send a postcard? It’s one of those great holiday traditions and every canvas cottage has postcards if you fancy dropping someone a note. You can leave these to be mailed in the shop.
