Amazing weekend stay with the family!
We have just got home from a wonderful weekend at The Dandelion Hideaway. Was a bit nervous about glamping in April due to the cold but we all had such an amazing weekend. The accommodation is so tasteful- it is like being in a five star hotel inside a tent. The two bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and huge, warm duvets. The third double bed is in a cupboard with beautiful stars hanging from the ceiling which the kids were blown away by. The lounge and kitchen area was perfect and spacious and we were able to prepare meals with ease. The electric heaters and lights were a great addition and we all enjoyed lighting the fire and keeping it burning. Will and Polly had thought of everything that you could need which made the stay very relaxing and nothing was ever a hassle for them. The kids loved trying the hot tub, riding around on their bikes and playing in the game shack. They also loved feeding the animals and playing with the baby goats. Cannot think of any negatives at all. A perfect stay- thank you so much to Will and Polly! Already trying to organise a return stay.

Fantastic Experience
We loved every bit of our stay, from the authentic accomodation in Bluebells, the hospitality of John And Sharon and meeting the goats and shetland ponies. It was a real get away from it all, relaxing and tranquil break. And at the same time the area offers plenty of beautiful walks and interesting places to visit.
The Dandelion Hideaway was such a delight that we have already booked five of the cottages for next summer so that the whole family can enjoy the experience as well.

Perfect as usual
I absolutely adore staying here, we've been coming back for a number of years and John and Sharon are always the perfect hosts. We have stayed in a number of the tents and they are all beautiful. This week we stayed in Bluebells and loved the view, log burning stove, star gazing in the hot tub, peace and quiet to finish my book and chatting to the pheasents. Just go, you'll love it!!

3rd Time Still A Charm
We have just finished our 3rd 3 night stay in bluebell and it was just as fantastic as the other 2 times. The attention to detail and and where the cottage is in the field make it such a special and relaxing place. We really enjoyed the hot tub and it’s hot enough to enjoy on a chilly night. We spent the evenings looking out over the fields toasting marshmallows on the fire pit snuggled up under one of the many blankets. Having a candle lit roll top bath is bliss and we are looking forward to returning and even thinking about coming as a group but not sure I can give up the hot tub! Truly magical, thanks Sharon and Farmer John.

Third year in a row- just as excellent!
First visited 3 years ago on the back of a review in The Telegraph. This is camping for those who like comfort, peace and quiet and the opportunity to reconnect with family and friends.
John and Sharon are always welcoming and helpful and are often busy as this is a working goat farm, giving you privacy but with help on hand if any issues.
Each of the 6 tents is well stocked with beds, wood burning stove, books, radio and hot running water. Mini kitchen has all the essentials and wood for the stove is freely available. Solar power lamps alongside candles and tea lights make for a cosy evening together. We made it through storm Francis with red wine in hand and feeling reassured that the tents were secure and safe.
The National Space Centre and Twycross Zoo are within 25 mins drive if the weather is mixed with plenty of board games available in the tents or relaxation lounge.
The farm shop operates on an honesty basis with milk, bacon and pies to hand. Less fresh food available this time round but to be expected with the Covid impacts reducing the number of families who can visit at any one time. Local co-op is a 7 minute drive away.
Kids can collect eggs themselves each morning, ponies are available to groom twice a week and you are given the freedom of the farm including wandering in to pet the baby goats whenever it takes your fancy. Absolutely tons of space to play cricket, fly a kite or play football and a communal pizza oven/campfire if you choose.
Easy walk to an excellent pub (the gate hangs well), and lots of fields for exploring with birds in abundance and a hide to watch for badgers (not seen one yet but an ever hopeful 6 year old loves the late night visits).
We invited friends to join us last year and this year and we have both rebooked for 2021.
Looking forward to our next trip, the big skies and the fantastic sunsets- and highly recommend!

Idyllic getaway
I loved our week here so much, all I’ve thought about since we returned is when we can go back! The canvas cottage is perfectly formed and has everything you need. We ate every meal (and played endless games!) on the beautiful raised veranda, facing the fields and listening to birdsong. We spent a lot of time in the wood behind the cottage playing hide and seek, den building and making memories I’ll treasure forever. The children loved seeing the goats everyday and collecting eggs from the chicken coop. Pony grooming was also a highlight for them along with exploring the cornfields! Farmer John and Sharon were the perfect hosts and Sharon even surprised us with a bottle of wine on our wedding anniversary. We were genuinely sad to leave and really hope to return - soon! Thank you so much for having us.

From seeing baby goats collecting eggs from the chickens, grooming the ponies, cooking, marshmallows,
Wheelbarrow races running through the field
Just amazing highly recommend
We have been gone an hour unpacked and now looking for dates next year
Words can’t describe how beautiful this place is and Sharon and farmer John are perfect hosts, just amazing.

Utterly dreamy!
Had an utterly dreamy week away during mid-July at Dandelion and am already plotting our return! A wonderful setting, with every little detail thought of to keep you relaxed and children entertained. The decor of the tents themselves are incredibly tasteful and we all loved finding treasures such as nature books, games and binoculars in the suitcases and other nooks and crannies!
The farm brought something new everyday for our children with the ponies, horses, goats, egg collecting and goings-on of Farmer John and his team.
The local area is great for outdoor activities and we found everyone very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed bike riding at Hicks Lodge and at Market Bosworth Country Park, as well as a day trip to Warwick Castle. The Black Horse at Market Bosworth had a brilliant deli/takeaway service with lovely pies which we popped in the stove back at camp.
Sharon and John have created a great spot to slow down and watch the world go by, with a host of creature comforts to leave you feeling rested and revived when you head home. Thank you!

Another amazing stay
Finally, after a short delay due to lockdown, we go to enjoy our 6th visit to Dandelion Hideaway. As ever, we had an absolutely amazing time. We hardly left the farm at all, instead spending our time flying kites, heading out for walks along the footpaths, and looking at the baby goats. John and Sharon made us feel so welcome, as they always do, and having been home for less than two hours I already can't wait to go back again.
