About Us
The Dandelion Hideaway is owned and run by the Oliver Family, Alf and his wife Gill, son Will and his wife Polly, and younger son, Rory.
Osbaston House Farm covers acres of beautiful Leicestershire countryside, with mature woodlands, arable and grassland. The Dandelion Hideaway is owned and run by the Oliver Family, Alf and his wife Gill, son Will and his wife Polly, and younger son, Rory.
We are fourth generation farmers who have, for a number of years, hosted visits on our farms for school children, American farming groups and historians as we farm the land where the Battle of Bosworth took place.
We are commercial arable farmers producing a wide range of crops including wheat and oil seed rape. As well as farming arable land we have a passion for the countryside and wildlife along with our love of Cattle, Hens, Dogs and horses.
‘Best Glamping Accommodation in England’
We are proud too have held a Certificate of Excellence since we opened but after many years of awards from VisitEngland for the Dandelion Hideaway, we were completely overwhelmed, humbled and delighted to have been named Best Glamping Accommodation in England in 2017
